We were at the races and also caught them on TSN that evening. And what was shown on replay did not look like blocking to us, it appeared to be normal driving to make the turn. It looked legit and we agree it was a bad call. Did the official actually watch an aeriel replay? We wonder. Dixon may have received first position in the race but he didn't get it by driving to the finish line first. Agreeably the racing is very likely political, as many sports. Hopefully this doesn't hurt the Indy in Edmonton for next year seats have already decreased.

Hey RM - yeah, that's right, you go ahead and stick with F1 racing. That's the series where race teams decide who should pull over and who should win. F1 is more politics than racing, but hey, if that's what you want, go ahead and watch, because it's obviously a classier and more respectable series... NOT!

Poor Dave... He was the only one that agreed to the race director. What a shame!!! Would be his relative or something like that?

helio held his line.you should be able to drive on any part of the track as long as you hold your line. it's crazy to say that a driver can't use a certain part of the track, it is up to the following driver to get around. this is especially true if a driver is leading the race. THAT'S WHY IT'S CALLED RACING.

I liked Champ Car, Indy Car doesn't have any class, or respecability after this bone headed call. "Blocking" in MY book is using your mirrors to stay infront of a car, switching lines to prevent a move on the part of the driver behind. I guess this "rule" means no one can drive "inside" ? What a bunch of clowns. I'll stick to F1.

Blocking is blocking and a penalty is the result. It is what it is.

I have no respect for Dixon or Power. What losers! The audacity to stand up on the podium with a smile.

Wrong call! That ruling means drivers can't battle for the win. Barnhard is wrong, again!
